Baker Publishing Group Celebrates Two Titles Recognized in the 2025 Gospel Coalition Book Awards

Baker Publishing Group is pleased to announce that two of its titles have been honored in The Gospel Coalition's 2025 Book Awards

The Baker Academic winner was Biblical Theology in the Life of the Early Church: Recovering an Ancient Vision by Stephen O. Presley in the Theological Studies Category. Stephen O. Presley is senior fellow for religion and public life at the Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy and associate professor of church history at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

Brazos Press also had one winner named. You Were Never Meant to Do It All: A 40-Day Devotional on the Goodness of Being Human by Kelly M. Kapic was named winner in the Devotional Literature category. Kelly M. Kapic is professor of theological studies at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, where he has taught since 2001. He is a popular speaker and the award-winning author or editor of more than 15 books, including the Christianity Today Book Award winners You’re Only Human and Embodied Hope: A Theological Meditation on Pain and Suffering.
