  1. Interpretations of who “the man of lawlessness” might be (2:3–4) abound throughout church history. Who do you think it might be? Does it refer to an actual person, or a “type” of person?
  2. What exactly is wrong with idleness (3:6–15)? Why should believers work, and what about those who can’t work for reasons of health, age, or situation?
