"Hans Finzel and Rick Hicks tell boomers, 'retirement should not be an exit sign, but a door into something fresh, new, and exciting.' But for the many of the people I meet with and counsel, retirement stands for 'fear, uncertainty, and stress.' That is exactly why I highly recommend you read this book--now! Whether you're feeling well prepared or overwhelmed and unprepared to do life well in the '60-80 Window' of life, you could not have two better guides than these authors whom I know well and respect greatly. This is now my 'read first' book for those wanting to walk well with the Lord in life, with their family, and all through this crucial period of life."

"At seventy-six years of age I can testify that the senior years can be some of the best years and here is a book that can help make it happen. I fear that the people who need this book the most will never even see it, so please get extra copies to give away."
George Verwer, founder of OM
"A great look into the why and how of energizing our later years with purpose and meaning--with plenty of inspirational, relevant stories and tools for self-assessment and planning."
Harold Myra, former CEO of Christianity Today International
"Launch Your Encore is a brief, energizing, life-changing read. The authors, both long-time executives of frontline missions organizations, provide fellow boomers with a sure blueprint for finishing well--as did the original 'Old Dog,' Caleb (his name actually means dog), an octogenarian who led God's people in the capture of Hebron. This book is sure to have a wide appeal and influence because of its broad trans-cultural principles, compelling personal anecdotes and testimony, clear scriptural basis, and next-step wisdom. Certain to launch many glorious sunsets!"
R. Kent Hughes, senior pastor emeritus, College Church in Wheaton
"Baby boomers are living longer lives and living healthier lives. Hans and Rick have provided a practical and inspiring guide to help baby boomers live better lives and more fulfilling lives."
Dan Bolin, international director of Christian Camping International
