About

The Book of Hebrews has long been known as a literary masterpiece. With majestic language, sweeping arguments, and heart-felt pleas, it urges readers to continue in the faith. But like any piece of art, its beauty and appreciation of it grow as you learn more about the work and the extraordinary skill behind it.

Everyone's Guide to Hebrews by respected Bible teacher Neil R. Lightfoot is an accessible study of this unique book of the New Testament. Written with sensitivity, in a style everybody can understand, it explains the important features of Hebrews while highlighting its two great themes: the high priesthood of Christ and the once-for-all offering of himself for sin.

This book is designed for either personal or group use and includes study questions at the end of each chapter. Everyone's Guide to Hebrews will draw you deeper into the meaning of the text and help you apply its timeless truths to your life.

Endorsements

"I can take you to the class where we met and the chair where I sat. Every Monday night Dr. Lightfoot made the book of Hebrews come alive for me and a room of graduate students. That was over twenty years ago. I've found no one else who knows the Epistle more intimately or presents it more vividly. You'll love this book. Thanks, Dr. Lightfoot, for a life of leading students like me closer to Christ. I'll never forget you." Max Lucado
