Class Activities

  1. Divide the class into groups of two. Have each pair select a patriarch from Genesis 12–50 and identify one lesson that can be learned from that patriarch. Follow this with a brief feedback session for the entire class. Class time allowed: 25 minutes.
  2. Divide the class into groups of five students. Have each group select one of the theological concepts: election, promise, and covenant. Have the group study the concept with an Old Testament perspective. Have all of the groups share their insights. Class time allowed: 30 minutes.
