Assignment Ideas / Class Activities

  1. Have the students identify what they feel is the most important lesson from the New Testament.
  2. From class discussions, make a list of ways the New Testament presents a balanced vision for living.
  3. Make a chart that illustrates the continuity from Old to New Testaments and present it to the class.
  4. Identify the three biggest issues that the New Testament never completely settles; decide as a group what the significance is and present your results to the class.
  5. Have students write a three-page paper summarizing the basic legacy of the Old Testament for the New Testament.
