About
Angels Have Been, and Will Continue to Be, a Vital Part of God's Kingdom
Throughout the ages they have been messengers, protectors, healers, comforters and more to the people of God. Sometimes their presence is as subtle as a whisper of wind, other times as visible as the sun.
In this accessible, comprehensive and encouraging guide, Judith MacNutt pulls back the curtain on these intriguing heavenly beings. She offers insight and many stories of miraculous encounters, revealing what the Bible says about
• what angels look like
• what they do
• why they are important in believers' lives
• the heavenly hierarchy
• what fallen angels are
• and more
When you begin to grasp the importance of angels to God--and your very own life--you will better understand God's power and His extraordinary love for you.

Most of us are blind to the spiritual realities around us. We know little of the unseen realm. There was a time in the life of the prophet Elisha when he had to pray for his servant's spiritual eyes to be opened. After his prayer, recorded in 2 Kings 6:17, the servant saw, 'and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.' Many of us today need a similar awakening. We are so fixated on the natural that we don't know what God has given us in the spiritual realm.
That's why I am so grateful for Judith MacNutt and the solid, biblical teaching in this book. She reminds us that God is at work all around us, and that He has commissioned His angels to minister to His people. I pray your eyes will be opened as you embrace these important truths.J. Judith MacNutt's new book, Angels Are for Real, is a very interesting, well written book on a subject that has captured the minds of many in America over the last decade. I remember talking with Judith and Francis a few years ago about angels, and was excited as I listened to their stories. Judith is a seer in the spirit realm, having seen angels. However, as exciting as her experiences are with the angelic, the book is not written only on the basis of her experiences. She also draws from the Bible, from Church history, from Protestant and Catholic writers, and from others' testimonies of their encounters with angels.
I especially enjoyed the chapter on how angels appear. The stories throughout the book were amazing and encouraging. I have read several books on angels, and this is my favorite, the best I have read on the subject. And, unlike the shallow New Age books on angels, Judith acknowledges that not all angels are good, and that some are actually evil in their relationship to humans. She finishes the book on the positive truth about the authority of believers over unholy angels or demons. Angels Are for Real is a great, practical, enlightening book. Thank God for such an insightful and inspired book! The only people who do not enjoy the company of angels are those who do not believe in them.

Judith MacNutt reveals the unseen spiritual atmosphere surrounding us, between heaven and earth, populated with ranks of angels. This is no New Age fad. The stories here are arresting, solidly biblical, personal and practical. They take us into the supernatural realm, pulsating with love and power for us all.
