Baker Publishing Group Editor and Title Win Golden Scroll Awards
The Advanced Writers and Speakers Association (AWSA) announced the winners of their 2015 Golden Scroll Awards at their annual banquet on Sunday, June 28, in Orlando, Florida. The AWSA is made up of the top 10 percent of Christian women in publishing and speaking, and sponsors the Golden Scroll Awards banquet. Andrea Doering was named the Fiction Editor of the Year by AWSA. Doering is an executive editor with Revell Books, an imprint of Baker Publishing Group, with over twenty years of publishing experience in academic, ABA, and CBA-based companies. She holds an M.A. in English/Creative Writing from the University of Maine and has published several children’s books and short stories. AWSA author Lynette Eason says of Doering, “She makes each of her authors feel special, not just because we write for her house, but because she cares.”
Two Baker Publishing Group titles were also named winners of Golden Scroll Awards. No One to Trust by Lynette Eason was given the Golden Scroll Merit Award for Fiction. In Perfect Time by Sarah Sundin was given the Silver Scroll Merit Award for Fiction.
