Falling for You by Becky Wade (Bethany House; ISBN 9780764219375; ebook ISBN 9781493413782; $13.99)

The INSPY Board said, “Falling for You by Becky Wade is what good Inspirational Fiction is made of.” When a decades-old mystery in former NFL quarterback Corbin Stewart’s family reunites him with his ex-girlfriend Willow Bradford, will the heartbreak in their past and the complications in their present keep them from falling for one another all over again?

The Reckoning at Gossamer Pond by Jamie Jo Wright (Bethany House; ISBN 9780764230295; ebook ISBN 9781493414734; $14.99)

Two women, separated by a hundred years, must unravel the mysteries of their own town before it’s too late and they lose their future—or their very souls. The INSPY Board commented, “The Reckoning kept us on our toes, kept us guessing, and had us turning the pages at amazing speeds, all while offering the most important lesson of all—knowing Jesus.”

The Edge of Over There by Shawn Smucker (Revell; ISBN 9780800735418; ebook ISBN 9781493413997; $14.99)

Before the Tree of Life, everything in Abra Miller’s life had been predictable. Safe. Normal. But after the Tree, everything has felt fragile . . . Now sixteen, Abra receives a clue to the whereabouts of the next Tree of Life when an ominous woman compels her to travel to New Orleans, where she’ll find one of seven gateways between this world and Over There. As Abra enters the Edge of Over There and begins her pursuit of the Tree once more, she doesn’t know who to fear or who to trust. “The high literary quality of this thought-provoking read made it a stand-out among this year’s YA selections,” stated the INSPY Board.

Mark of the Raven by Morgan L. Busse (Bethany House; ISBN 9780764232220; ebook ISBN 9781493416165; $15.99)

As she becomes more entrenched in Ravenwood’s dark past, Selene longs to find out the true reason behind her family’s gift, believing that its original intent could not have been for such evil purposes. But she is torn about upholding her family’s legacy. Selene’s dilemma comes to a head when she is tasked with assassinating the one man who can bring peace to the nations. The INSPY Board reported, “Busse’s world-building is extraordinary. She explains all the fantastical elements through the story in magnificent fashion.”
