Revell Appoints New Editorial Director
Baker Publishing Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Doering to the position of editorial director for Revell, a division of Baker Publishing Group.
Doering joined the Revell team in 2007 as a senior acquisitions editor with more than 15 years of experience in the publishing industry. Since that time, she has helped the Revell division grow with a number of strong acquisitions, including authors such as Kay Warren, Lisa Bevere, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Ted Dekker. Before joining Revell, Doering served as editor-in-chief of Crossings Book Club, where she was responsible for editorial direction and book selection for the second largest book club in the country.
“Andrea has proven herself as an exceptionally talented and insightful editor who’s also a strategic thinker with a strong vision for the Revell division,” said Jennifer Leep, executive vice president of trade publishing. “We look forward to seeing the Revell team thrive under Andrea’s capable leadership moving forward.”
Doering will continue to work from her home office in New York.
