Revell Editor Honored by the American Christian Fiction Writers
The American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) honored Vicki Crumpton with the Editor of the Year award at their annual conference’s award gala held on Saturday, September 27, in St. Louis.
Vicki Crumpton is an executive editor for Revell and has over twenty years of publishing experience. She has acquired a number of award finalists and winners as well as several New York Times bestsellers, including 90 Minutes in Heaven. She holds an MDiv and a PhD from Southwestern Seminary, is a Mensa member and works from her home in western Kentucky. When she’s not taking care of her menagerie, you can often find her riding a road bike or mountain bike, paddling a kayak or taking photos.
Revell’s editorial director, Jennifer Leep, stated, “Vicki has a keen ability to bring out the best in her authors during the editing process—authors and agents alike love working with her and deeply value her insights.”
The mission of ACFW, which was founded in 2000, is “to advance Christian Fiction by inspiring writers to join with God in the creative process, training them in the craft, and educating them in the publishing industry.”
