Acts: An Exegetical Commentary, Vols. 1–4 by Craig S. Keener
(Baker Academic; ISBN 9780801039898; $229.99)
Highly respected New Testament scholar Craig Keener is known for his meticulous and comprehensive research. This commentary on Acts, his magnum opus, may be the largest and most thoroughly documented Acts commentary ever written. “Keener is a scholar with gifts that come along once every century, and here we see them employed in full force.” ? Gary Burge, professor of New Testament, Wheaton College

Divine Sex by Jonathan Grant
(Brazos Press; ISBN 9781587433696; ebook ISBN 9781441227164; $17.99)
A fresh new voice offers a persuasive Christian vision of sex and relationships, calling young adults to faithful discipleship in a hypersexualized world. Drawing from his pastoral experience with young people and from cutting-edge research, Jonathan Grant helps Christian leaders understand the cultural forces that make the church’s teaching on sex and relationships ineffective in the lives of today’s young adults and sets forth pastoral strategies for addressing the underlying fault lines in modern sexuality. Brian Howell, professor of anthropology, Wheaton College, says of Divine Sex, “We have needed this book for a long time.”

(Brazos Press; ISBN 9781587433733; ebook ISBN 9781493400065; $16.99)
Two political experts show how faith-based groups—those active in the educational, healthcare, international aid and development, and social service fields—can defend their ability to follow their religiously based beliefs without having to jettison the very faith and faith-based practices that led them to provide services to those in need.

Spiritual Friendship by Wesley Hill
