Dr. Mark Rutland
Dr. Mark Rutland (www.globalservants.org) is the New York Times bestselling author of ReLaunch as well as fourteen previous titles. He founded Global Servants in 1977 and still serves as its president. Over the last twenty-five years, Dr. Rutland has also served as senior pastor of a megachurch and president of two different universities. These three institutions experienced dramatic turnarounds under his leadership.
Dr. Rutland currently serves as president of the National Institute of Christian Leadership where he lectures on leadership, management, business, and public communication. He is also on the preaching team at Free Chapel (led by senior pastor Jentezen Franklin) where he preaches three times per month at their three megachurch campuses in Georgia and California. He serves as a consultant for churches, universities, and businesses. He is a frequent guest on many Christian television programs including the 700 Club, TBN, Daystar, James Robison, Marilyn Hickey, and Canada's 100 Huntley Street. His own radio program is the number one Christian teaching broadcast in the Atlanta market with 60,000 listeners daily (Arbitron).
Dr. Rutland speaks in the US and internationally upwards of two hundred times per year. He and his wife, Alison, have taught together in Global Servants' marriage enrichment conference, ministering to thousands of couples over the years.
Mark and Alison have been married since 1967 and have one son, two daughters, four grandsons, and two granddaughters.
